Bitdefender’s protection is superior. It shows above-average malware detection rates. One of the reasons Bitdefender so effective because it scans both incoming and outgoing communications in real time so that it wipes out hackers before they infiltrate your PC, and that too without slowing you internet.BIS scores high scores in German-based AV-Test . 

BIS has 3 ways to wipe out malware:-

1. The traditional virus signature search tells whether a file is malware. It then finds a cure.

2. When it detects unknown threats, BIS isolates them and put them in virtual environment and monitors whether file tries to modify certain files or areas or if it tries to communicate with an external computer, etc. If it behaves well then SIB allows the file.

3. Active Virus Control- This monitors all processes and check for resemblence with malware activity.

BIS also has a 2-way firewall which auto-adjust with users location and an integrated Wi-Fi monitor which will block unwanted attempts to access your network.

The parental control feature will block children from viewing unwanted sites. Parental control allows you to block or allow websites, contact or emails with some flaged words or phrases. You can even control the internet and application access to specific times or give each child an allotment.  

The Full System Scan complete in a short time and uses very little resources. Also scheduled scans also works fine and only works when computer is idle. 

The Vulnerability scanner checks for outdated software and needed Windows updates so to clear out any kind vulnurability in the system.

But SIB lacks extra tools like shredder and encryptor.
